Hosting and technical requests

This static website is delivered through Cloudflare Pages. To deliver and protect the site, the hosting and network providers may process your IP address, request time, requested path, user agent and security-related metadata. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in reliable and secure delivery (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare may process data in countries outside the EEA subject to its applicable safeguards. Audience measurement

We use self-hosted Umami analytics, loaded via rpscripts.net/_sr/s.js, to count public-page visits. The implementation supplies the fixed public page path and title and deliberately omits URL query parameters, fragments, referrers, and search terms. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control opt visitors out. Connecting to the analytics endpoint can still expose network information such as IP address and browser headers to the endpoint operator. Our intended lawful basis is the legitimate interest in aggregate site usage analysis (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), subject to applicable local consent requirements.

Analytics is served from a separate domain; the ownership and data-processing arrangements for that endpoint must be reviewed with the controller. We do not claim that technical connection data is never collected or that it has a verified fixed retention period.

Browser storage and media

The light/dark theme preference is stored locally under fivepd-theme in your browser. The website uses locally hosted fonts and most images. Embedded YouTube content loads from YouTube when you choose to play a video; Google/YouTube may then process your device information under their own privacy terms. External links to GitHub, mod authors, or commercial providers are accessed only when you follow them.

Storage, disclosures and transfers

Technical requests are retained only as necessary for operations, troubleshooting and security, subject to the actual hosting and analytics provider settings. Exact operational log retention must be confirmed against those settings. Third-party processing and international transfers are subject to the providers’ applicable data protection terms; no guarantee of exclusive EU processing is made.

Subject to applicable GDPR conditions, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, object to processing, or withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis. Contact us at the address above. You can also complain to a supervisory authority, including the Baden-Württemberg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
