Luxart Vehicle Control (LVC) is a FiveM controller for sirens and non-ELS emergency lights. That is the scope described by the TrevorBarns Luxart Vehicle Control project, whose README identifies the v3 project. It is a separate resource, not a FivePD core component or the same package as ELS.

What does LVC control?

LVC gives a server a dedicated way to configure emergency-vehicle light and siren controls. Use the selected version’s documentation for its bindings, configuration files and optional features rather than assuming every server has the same controls.

Before choosing it, check whether your vehicle author specifies a non-ELS setup or an ELS implementation with matching vehicle configurations. The FiveM ELS overview covers the latter. Do not assume that installing both controllers makes a vehicle compatible with both.

How to install LVC on a FiveM server

Start with the Luxart Vehicle Control installation guide alongside the upstream documentation. Treat older examples as version-specific: resource layout and configuration names can change between packages.

Back up your existing resource and settings, test the selected package separately, and start with one vehicle intended for that controller. Check the server and client logs, bindings, lights and sirens before expanding the fleet. Verify coexistence requirements before running another vehicle-control resource at the same time.

Lights, sirens and visual brightness are different tasks

A control resource is not the same as a visual-lighting mod or a sound replacement.
