FivePD Alternatives: FivePRS, LSPDFR and FiveM Police RP
Compare FivePD alternatives by multiplayer support, features and maintenance status, including the FivePRS public test project and single-player LSPDFR.
Looking for a FivePD alternative? The right choice depends first on whether you want cooperative FiveM patrols, single-player GTA V police gameplay, or a framework for a custom roleplay server. Do not infer that an alternative can load existing FivePD plugins or migrate its database without a separate compatibility review.
A 12 October 2026 community post attributes a discontinuation announcement to a FivePD developer, but the original developer statement has not been independently verified by this site. See FivePD project status for the evidence and outstanding questions.
FivePD alternatives at a glance
| Option | Best fit | Platform and limitations |
|---|---|---|
| Legacy FivePD | Existing FiveM communities maintaining a tested setup | Cooperative AI police patrols; legacy binaries and add-on compatibility require version-specific testing. |
| FivePRS | People who want an open-source FiveM police/fire/EMS framework to evaluate | Project documentation says it is under active development and not production-ready; treat it as a public test option, not a drop-in FivePD replacement. |
| LSPDFR | GTA V players who primarily want single-player police missions and callouts | Separate single-player mod and installation path; not a FiveM multiplayer substitute. |
| Custom FiveM police roleplay | Servers prioritizing multiplayer players, jobs and dispatch | Features depend on the selected framework, scripts and rules; AI callouts similar to FivePD are not automatic. |
FivePRS: a FiveM emergency-services framework
The FivePRS documentation describes an open-source FiveM framework with emergency-service roles, dispatch, records, callouts and a vehicle terminal. Its project explicitly states that it remains under development and is not ready for production servers. Review the upstream project’s release, license and setup instructions before testing. Its claims should not be treated as FivePD compatibility claims.
Choose it when: you can evaluate a development-stage system on a disposable server and you want a multiplayer path with publicly documented code.
LSPDFR: GTA V single-player policing
LSPDFR’s official website describes a GTA V single-player police modification with callouts and pursuits. The installation and add-on ecosystem differ from FivePD. It should not be described as an official FivePD successor or a one-click conversion of FiveM servers.
Choose it when: you want to play on your own machine without administering a multiplayer FiveM server. See LCPDFR vs FivePD for the historical GTA IV distinction as well.
Custom FiveM police roleplay
A FiveM roleplay community can use independently selected police jobs, dispatch, vehicle and records resources. Some depend on frameworks such as ESX, QBCore or Qbox; requirements vary. This route is not a replica of FivePD’s AI callout gameplay by default.
Choose it when: you already operate a roleplay server and want to assemble your own resource stack. Use how to assess FiveM scripts before installing and verify add-on integration before touching production.
Should you migrate an existing FivePD server?
Do not delete a stable legacy FivePD instance because of a community announcement alone. Export configuration and player data where permitted; inventory callouts, plugins, vehicles and custom scripts; then prototype the alternative using separate databases and backups. Test the features your players actually use, including multiplayer patrols, MDT records and dispatch. No automatic FivePD-to-FivePRS or FivePD-to-LSPDFR migration is established here.
